Happy midweek Wednesday everyone! Today’s learning looks like this… Please remember that these are incredibly tricky times and whatever you manage to get done with your children is enough!

Bike it Pat from the Big Pedal

Some of you may know Bike It Pat from last year's Big Pedal, he has started his own Youtube channel with tips and skills on using a bike.

For English, we are going to be using the fantastic resources from the BBC Bitesize website. All you have to do is click this link and it will take you to their website. On here you will follow the step by step guide to the lesson. You will need your exercise book / paper and also make sure you watch the videos!

Today it is tricky word Wednesday. Attached on the website are two documents that have sentences. Please read them through and underline any of these tricky words – oh, their, people, some, come, were, there. Once you have done this, please practise the spelling of the tricky words – write them each 5 times so it helps you to remember!

For your reading comprehension today you need to read the diary extract about a garden then answer the questions.

Attached you will find handwriting guidelines for your child to practise their best letter formation, using Langshott script. Continue to do the same as yesterday.

Test your child on the spellings they practised yesterday. Continue to practise these spellings at home until your child has learnt them! Use the tips and tricks for how to help your children learn to spell words. When they are confident with the spellings, you can then move onto different words.

We hope you enjoyed the White Rose website for our maths learning yesterday. Please click on this link and it will take you to the website.

Click on the sub-heading Summer Term – Week 2 Week 3 (w/c 4th May). Navigate to Lesson 3. You will then need to watch the video and get the activity. The answers are available too!

Today you are going to be learning about the 4 countries in the UK! Use the BBC Bitesize website to help you.
