Task 1

Oh no… Whilst you lot have been at home working hard, a pirate has broken into Ruby class. This was recorded on Langshott’s CCTV footage.

He went in through the door and came out with a black sack, so he must have stolen something! But who is he? Maybe you could help...

What you need to do is create your own ‘WANTED’ poster.

First, you will need to draw a picture of your pirate and then colour him in. Next, make sure you state what he is wanted for because of what he has stolen. Then you will need to write a description about the pirate. You must remember to use full stops, capital letters, finger spaces and most importantly, LOTS of adjectives because they will help to describe your pirate! Have a look at the example below to help you.

Once you have finished you will need to then send them in via the year group email so that we can put these posters up around the school to help track him down! There is a WANTED poster template below and a spare set of line paper also attached.

Task 2

Your next writing task involves labelling a pirate ship. Look at the PowerPoint attached below to learn about what each part of a pirate ship is called. Then find the worksheet to fill in.
