Our Vision  

At Langshott Primary School Personal, Social, Relationships and Health education is an important and necessary part of our pupils’ learning. We want to prepare all pupils for life, helping them really know and value know they are and understand how they relate to other people in this ever - changing world. We want to equip pupils with a sound understanding of risk and with the knowledge and skills necessary to make safe and informed decisions. 

At Langshott we follow a whole school PSHE scheme called Jigsaw. Jigsaw combines PSHE, mindfulness, spiritual development, emotional literacy and social skills.

Jigsaw is a whole school approach, with each year group working on the same theme (Puzzle) at the same time. 

There are six puzzles (half-term units), each with six pieces (lessons). Every year group studies the same Puzzle at the same time (in order from September to July), allowing for whole school themes.

Each year group is taught one lesson per week and all lessons are delivered in an age and stage appropriate way so that it meets the needs of all children. Two of our units are taught as a block theme weeks. These are Celebrating Difference and Changing Me. We also have additional lessons on finances and first aid.
