Growth Mindset

"The hallmark of successful individuals is that they love learning, they seek challenges, they value effort, and they persist in the face of obstacles" Carol Dweck 2000

At Langshott we believe that children can achieve anything they put their mind to. We want all children to welcome challenge and learn from their mistakes.  We beleive that intelligence is not fixed but cultivated through learning. By encouraging children to engage fully with new tasks, exerting effort, stretching and applying skills - they begin to foster a growth mindset. Anything is possible if you work hard enough!
